Theft Of Snowblowers On The Rise In Norton Shores

NORTON SHORES,Mich. — The Norton Shores Police Department has taken three reports involving the theft of snowblowers this week. The incidents have occurred in the 3400 Blk of Hiawatha Dr, 1900 Blk of Bonneville, and 1600 Blk of Ritter Dr. All thefts are believed to have occurred during daylight hours. Two snowblowers were stolen from open garages and the third was stolen from the side of the garage.

The Norton Shores Police Department encourages all residents to secure their snowblowers inside their garages and to close their garage doors.

Police ask all residents to please be vigilant by reporting any suspicious subjects or vehicles in your neighborhoods.

Call 911 immediately to report the suspicious activity so an officer can make contact with the subject. Provide the 911 operator with a thorough description of the suspect, how they are acting suspicious, and a direction of travel. Please do not hesitate to call 911.
