KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. — A personal-protection order was filed against missing West Michigan doctor Teleka Patrick by Grand Rapids gospel singer Marvin Sapp, court records show.

Sapp alleges that Patrick stalked him and his family, and claimed he was her husband.  He also said she was contacting him before moving from California to West Michigan.

Patrick, 30, was last seen Dec. 5 after being dropped off at the Borgess Medical Center parking lot in Kalamazoo.

Patrick’s parents, Mattahais and Irene Patrick, issued a statement Thursday addressing the personal-protection order and saying they still believe their daughter is in danger.

“Regardless of Teleka’s emotional state, we believe wholeheartedly that she has encountered some harm or danger. It is unlike her to go any significant length of time without any contact with family or friends,” the statement reads.

Anyone with information on Patrick’s whereabouts should contact Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department at 269-383-8748.
