Eastbound I-94
MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. — I-94 is closed in both directions from Michigan City to the Illinois state border, according to Indiana State Police. That is about a 40-mile stretch.
The closure was caused by multiple slide-offs. Police say plow trucks are currently unable to get to the area because of the traffic congestion.
Indiana State Police also say that I-65 is currently closed in both directions from Gary, Ind. to Lafayette. That’s about 100 miles. The road will be closed until tomorrow afternoon.
