WEST MICHIGAN — (FOX 17) — The combination of deep snowpack and heavy rain is resulting in some reports of street flooding in much of West Michigan.
Many of our viewers are reporting flooding via the FOX 17 Facebook page. In addition, there are many reports of slushy roads where there was snow remaining. Several people have reported slide-offs as a result of the slushy roads. A look at our MDOT cams shows just wet roads on the major highways.
The rain will continue for the next several hours. This image from our in-house computer model, Future Track, shows some rainfall totals by morning.
Use caution when driving tonight. The rain will be coming to an end early Saturday. For the latest forecast, join us on FOX 17 News or visit the weather page at http://www.fox17online.com/weather
