KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Teleka Patrick’s family members aren’t quite sure what Sheriff Richard Fuller will say when he stands before news cameras Wednesday morning.

The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office scheduled a 10 a.m. press conference to give an update on the missing woman’s case.

“We would like to know what they’re going to say that we don’t already know,” Mattahais Patrick, Teleka’s father, told FOX 17 by phone.

A vague news release said interviews with the department will not be available before the news conference.

The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Department hasn’t shared any new information publicly in the case since mid-December. That last bit of information came on the same day a vigil was held for Patrick at a church in Parchment, a suburb of Kalamazoo.

Undersheriff Pali Matyas recently said that over the course of this investigation detectives have “collected a lot of data and information” and will “release more information regarding the investigation” at the press conference.

Patrick’s family said i late December taht the sheriff’s office obtained multiple search warrants regarding Patrick’s cell phone, email accounts, and computers. The warrants were reportedly executed several days later.

On January 20, FOX 17 spoke with the Indiana State Police. The detective on the case said Indiana’s side of the investigation has been stagnant ever since news broke that Patrick was missing. A lot of tips came in, many of them reported sightings, but the detective said the tips didn’t pan out.

Patrick’s parents hired private investigator Jim Carlin to help bring her home.

“We’re real happy with the coverage,” Carlin told FOX 17 in an interview early January. “This stuff that’s out there about tweets, and all this other … we’re not focusing on that.”

FOX 17 will be at the news conference and will bring you any new details.
