Kane Reeves, 22, was in Paw Paw District Court for a preliminary hearing.  He was arrested Oct. 10 in the 60000 block of County Road 665 in Paw Paw Township.

Reeves faces charges of assault with intent to murder and first-degree home invasion.

A 911 caller reported that they saw a woman whose face was “covered in blood” being dragged into a house by him.

That woman, Mary Teske, will need reconstructive surgery from the vicious beating.

In an exclusive interview with FOX 17 after the attack, Teske said, “I never thought anything like this would happen to me. Get out as soon as you see the warning signs (of domestic violence); don’t keep tolerating it.”

There will be a full update on today’s court hearings on FOX 17 News at 5 and 6.
