KENTWOOD, Mich. — A Lacks Enterprise facility suffered a partial roof collapse Wednesday.
The collapse happened at the location along Patterson Avenue just south of 36th Street in Kentwood.
A company spokesperson tells FOX17 no one was hurt, and third shift employees at that building do not have to report to work tonight during the clean-up and damage assessment.
According to the fire chief on scene, the collapse was due to a heavy snow load on the roof. It broke the sprinkler lines, which sounded an alarm.
