MIDDLEBURY, Ind. — FOX 17 continues to report from Indiana, where an escaped Ionia killer was captured Monday.
Michael Elliot is believed to have broken into a church in Middlebury, where he stole clothes and kitchen knives before allegedly stealing a vehicle.
Elliot, 40, was arrested in LaPorte County Monday evening after a brief vehicle pursuit with police.
