Three Rivers Teenager Dies In Two Vehicle Crash

Police-light-barFABIUS TOWNSHIP, Mich. (Feb. 8th, 2014)- A 13-year-old has died after a two vehicle crash in St. Joesph County on Friday.

According to the St. Joseph County Sheriff Department, the crash happened at U.S. 131 and Broadway Rd. in Fabius Township between a semi truck and a car.

The driver of the semi, a 56-year-old man from Niles was uninjured in the crash. While in the car, the driver a 43-year-old woman from Three Rivers was air-lifted to Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo. The passenger in the car, a 13-year-old from Three Rivers was pronounced dead at the scene.

Everyone was wearing seat belts at the time of the crash.

Alcohol is not a factor in this crash.

Officials have not released the names of the victims in this crash.

    Wow…they airlifted the driver while she was in her car to Borgess??? That must’ve been quite a sight. A car being airlifted.
    C’mon guys. Middle school English class. Sentance structure.
