GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (Feb.-10-2014)– The Saints from Franks Knock-Out Fitness are bunch of buddies who just want to keep playing baseball, and now they are the World 60 and Over Champions.
Local team members include Jessie Young, Buzz Wynbeek, Mike Despres, Greg Antor, Rick Fluish and Tony Noto.
The team went 5-1 at the tournament played in San Juan, Puerto Rico. After losing to the Puerto Rico national team during the qualifying round, they beat them in the final, 15-0, to capture the title.
The team will return to Grand Rapids on Tuesday.
