Police Capture Escaped Bull Running Through Wayland Streets

WAYLAND, Mich. (Feb. 26, 2014) — The Wayland police engaged in a (low speed) chase Sunday with a bull that kicked open a trailer and got loose on N. Main Street.

According to the police department, the incident happened near the Oak Street intersection at about 5:30 p.m.  The bull was captured within a few minutes.

No one was injured during the escape.

        Liz post it on youtube if you have video of it. A friend of mine works at the auction house and said the bull was not shot. If you have proof it was shot, post a link to the youtube video of it.

    Yup..glad the bull was OUTSIDE of the city limits when i arrived. Just another day serving county resident…fyi watch

    Why didn’t they mention on the news that the bull was shot in the middle of the road? At point blank range.
