Substitute In Caledonia Accused of Racist Remarks

CALEDONIA, Mich. (March 4, 2014) — The Caledonia Community School District is investigating reports that a substitute teacher made racist remarks in a classroom.

According to Superintendent Randy Rodriguez, the alleged incident happened at the end of the school day Tuesday.  He said there were reports that the teacher used the N-word during class.

Rodriguez tells FOX 17 that the substitute in question will not work at the district again until the investigation is complete.

The specific school where the substitute was teaching  was unclear.
