BEDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (March 9, 2014) – The Calhoun County Sheriff Special Response Team found an active meth lab, methamphetamine and tools used to make the drug in a Bedford Township home.

Deputies say they found the meth lab 9:15 A.M. Saturday when they used a search warrant for a residence in the 600 block of Stephanie Avenue.

Officials say charges are pending for the owner of the home, a 32-year-old Battle Creek woman. Deputies also arrested a 50-year-old woman on unrelated warrants. Officials have not released any names at this point and the investigation is ongoing.
