GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (March 25, 2014) —  The picture above from the FOX 17 Mobile Weather Tracker is how some of the roads looked on Tuesday morning. There were also some slick spots on Monday morning as well.  We’re a week away from April, but we’re still not quite done with winter yet.

Overnight Tuesday night, the lake-effect snow will be ending and skies will clear. Depending upon the amount of clearing, some record lows could be threatened. Here is a look at the records for March 26:

While the weather will be relatively calm on Wednesday, another wintry mess could be moving in Wednesday night and Thursday morning with the possibility of yet another messy morning commute. Here is an image from our in-house computer model, Future Track, that shows the weather just after Midnight Wednesday night.

The precipitation will start out as snow, then switch to sleet and freezing rain. However, despite the fact there could be some slick spots Thursday morning, any travel troubles will literally melt away during the day with temperatures rising into the 40s.
