HASTINGS, Mich. (March 26, 2014) — A volunteer soccer coach at Hastings High School has been suspended while Michigan State Police investigate allegations of underage drinking at his home last weekend.

According to Hastings Athletic Director Mike Goggins, pictures surfaced from a weekend party that involved soccer players and other students.

Goggins said he became aware that state police were involved on Tuesday.  The coach has not yet been identified.

The parents of all the Hastings students involved in this alleged incident have been notified, according to Goggins.

State police said they plan to turn the findings of their investigation over to the prosecutor’s office.
