Anderson & Girls Orchards and Zoo, Stanton: FREE- Zebras, camels, lemurs, peacocks, arctic foxes, reindeer, a petting zoo and so much more! Grab a fresh-made doughnut, too

Farm Country Cheese House, Lakeview: FREE – From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, watch Amish make delicious cheeses and try some samples, too.

Kent County

Kent District Library; FREE: KDL branches have all types of free events and activities for families all week-long, even beyond Spring Break!

Blandford Nature Center, Grand Rapids: $3 adults, 2 and under free– Come hoot with the owls or wander through the sprawling trails. Not to mention, Blandford has camps starting Tues. April 8 ranging from $30 for members and $36 for non-members.

Holland Aquatic Center: $5.50/single visit but groups of 4 or more are just $4.50 each (Note: Holland Public School District residents get $1.25 off these rates with a resident I.D.) Zip down slides, splash around in the play area, zip line or even try getting through a slippery obstacle course without biting it!

Muskegon County

U.S.S. Silversides Submarine Museum, Muskegon: (Click the link to see costs) Go inside a WWII submarine that was responsible for destroying23 Japanese ships.  There is also a museum that has thousands of square feet of naval and military history, much of it interactive.

Kalamazoo County
