On March 21, the Monroe Bank & Trust at 1204 N. Monroe Street was robbed at 4:18 p.m.  The robbery took place on a Friday.  Investigators say the suspect demanded money from a teller, was given cash, then ran from the bank.

The suspect involved has been identified as David Nadeau of Monroe, who’s considered armed and dangerous.  U.S. Marshals say Nadeau has multiple felony warrants for his arrest, and is also wanted for questioning in regards to a separate Armed Robbery in the City of Monroe.

Nadeau is 5’10”, weighing approximately 205 pounds with a scraggly beard.

U.S. Marshals say he’s made statements that he has nothing to lose because he is looking at life in prison if caught.

Investigators believe Nadeau may have also committed crimes in northeast Ohio and other areas.

U.S. Marshals say his aliases include Dave Nadeau and James Russell Beeler.  He also has tattoos on his lower and upper right arm, right shoulder and chest.
