Two People Ejected After Rollover Crash In Berrien County

berrien co sheriffBAINBRIDGE TOWNSHIP, Mich. (April 13,2014)- Eight people had to be taken to the hospital after a two vehicle rollover crash in Berrien county Saturday afternoon.

According to the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened around 12:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the intersection of Park Road and Meadowbrook Rd. in Bainbridge Township.  A vehicle driven by 26-year-old Rachel Tabbey of Stevensville, collided with a van driven by 33-year-old Rocio Sandoval of Hartford. Deputies say Tabbey’s vehicle had the right of way at the intersection.

After the collision, the van rolled over and two passengers were ejected from the van. Four people in the van were transported to either Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph’s and Lakeland Hospital in Watervliet. The other four occupants of the van, three of them were transported to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo and one was transported South Bend Memorial Hospital.

This accident remains under investigation by the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department.
