GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (April 16, 2014) — As flooding continues in parts of West Michigan, there is more rain on the way. Fortunately, amounts will be very light.

This image from our in-house computer model, Future Track, shows some of the amounts by Friday afternoon. Most areas will have less than a tenth of an inch, if any at all. The areas that were hard-hit this past weekend will likely see very little rain– certainly some good news.

Moderate flooding is still occurring on the Muskegon River near Croton, and this river will be in flood stage for the next week. However, over the weekend, it is expected to drop into the minor flooding category.

The White River above Montague dropped below flood stage at 8 p.m. Wednesday evening.
