His body was found in a home at the Sherwood Forest Mobile Home Park, located at 1519 Olmstead Road in Kalamazoo Township.

The caller said the information came from a third person and the caller didn’t have direct knowledge of the situation at the mobile home.

Dispatchers sent Kalamazoo Township Police Department officers and Pride Care EMS to the park. Upon arriving at the scene, they found Vanostran dead with a gunshot wound.

Investigators believe Salo was present when the shooting happened but are not calling him a suspect in the case.

On Thursday, police told FOX 17 News that the death was “suspicious.”
