MUSKEGON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (April 19, 2014) – A 28 year-old Grayling man is dead after a single car crash around 2:30 a.m. Saturday in Muskegon Township. According to officers, the vehicle was going south on Mill Iron and crossed over Apple Ave. at a high rate of speed when he lost control, striking several trees.
Police stated that the driver of the car was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, however, was out of the vehicle and talking. It appears that alcohol and speed were a factor, police added.
The names of those involved have not been released.
