Traffic Stop Leads To A Meth Bust In Kalamazoo County

COMSTOCK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (April 19, 2014)- Several people were arrested Friday night after a meth lab bust in Kalamazoo county.

According to the Kalamazoo County Sheriffs Department, after a traffic stop locating methamphetamine inside of a vehicle, deputies were able to obtain a search warrant for a residence in the 6000 block of Chubb St. in Comstock Township.

When deputies and officers from the Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety arrived at the house they multiple people inside and outside the house. Deputies located several meth labs inside the home and on the property.

Charges are being sought for multiple people who were at the home Friday night.

Child Protective services was also notified due to a young child being inside the home at the time of the search warrant.

This case has been turned over to the Kalamazoo County Prosecutor’s Office.
