CLIMAX TOWNSHIP, Mich. (April 21, 2014) — The owner of a recently-vacated home sees people inside and calls police, who then end up finding an active meth lab during the course of the investigation.

According to the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to the possible home invasion on S. 43rd Street in Climax Township late Sunday night.  The property owner was informed that lights were on, and people were inside the recently-vacated home.

The owner then observed individuals inside, and made contact as they tried to go to the home next door.  That’s when deputies arrived and found an active meth lab in the home.  The two suspects were arrested, and all hazardous materials were removed.
