Death of Man Found Along Railroad Tracks Ruled Suicide

jenisonGEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. (April 22, 2014) — The death of a man whose body was found alongside railroad tracks in Jenison over the weekend has been ruled a case of suicide.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department said the 20-year-old man was found near 12th Avenue and Chicago Drive at around 6:30 p.m. Saturday.  When deputies arrived, it was determined that the man had not been struck by a train.

An autopsy was conducted at Blodgett Hospital Monday.  No other details were released.
