GRAND RAPIDS, Mich (April 22, 2014) – Four people are facing various methamphetamine related charges after a drug raid on Grand Rapids’ northeast side this morning.
The Kent Area Narcotics Enforcement Team raided a home in the 1300 block of Mayfield Avenue northeast following an investigation into the sale and manufacturing of methamphetamine at the home.
The suspected lab area, including a ‘one-pot’ methamphetamine lab, was located in the garage of the home and disposed of by the Michigan State Police Meth Response Team.
Seven people were located inside the home, four of which were taken into custody and will face charges.
The Grand Rapids Police Special Response Team, Grand Rapids Fire Department, and AMR Ambulance services also assisted at the scene.
