ALBION, Mich (April 22, 2014) – Two suspects have been charged with Assault with Intent to do Great Bodily Harm and Felony Firearms in connection to a shooting on Boyd Drive in Albion last week.
24-year-old Demetrius Laray Mitchell and 21-year-old Thomas Edward Spratley Jr. were both arraigned Monday.
Spratley Jr. was taken into custody shortly after the shooting occurred. Mitchell was wanted for questioning in the shooting prior to his arrest.
Officers with the Albion Department of Public Safety say the two are tied to a shooting in the 900 block of Boyd Drive where a vehicle was struck with several bullets. No injuries were reported.
