Jewelry Store Heists: $17,000 in Rewards Offered

Screen shot 2014-04-23 at 3.57.44 PMKENT COUNTY, Mich (April 24, 2014) – Several law enforcement agencies have come forward offering reward money to try to generate tips that will find the suspects responsible for two jewelry heists early this week.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is now assisting authorities on both sides of the state after Medawar Fine Jewelry in Plainfield Township and Tapper’s Diamond  and Fine Jewelry in West Bloomfield were robbed earlier this week.

The FBI is offering $10,000 for information that leads to an arrest and conviction of the suspects involved.  Tapper’s Diamond and Fine Jewelry has offered a $5,000 reward, and Kent County Silent Observer and Crime Stoppers of Southeast Michigan have offered $1,000 each.
