ROCKFORD, Mich. (April 26, 2014) — After a seemingly endless winter, dozens of kids got their chance to play baseball again Saturday at Nate Hurwitz Field in Rockford.
The West Michigan Miracle League’s first-ever spring season opened up with an expanded schedule — six games this session, up from four in the fall — and the number of league teams has also gone up from four to six.
The WMML will play every Saturday (excluding Memorial Day weekend) from now until June 7. Game times are 10:00 a.m., 11:15 a.m., and 12:30 p.m.
