WALKER, Mich. (April 29, 2014) – West Michigan mother Yolanda Reyes, 42, has been missing since Thursday.

Walker Police are still puzzled by her disappearance, as her family grows increasingly worried.

Early Thursday morning Reyes’ husband says he dropped her off to work at Neal Mast and Son Greenhouses in Walker near Four Mile Road NW and Bristol Avenue.

Police say no co-workers or anyone else ever saw Reyes that morning.

Her husband says it wasn’t until their son went to pick up his mother around 5 p.m. that they learned she never reported for her shift.

“She wouldn’t leave her kids alone in her life, especially her husband,” niece Rosemeri Rodas said.

Walker police say they have no evidence Reyes left on her own or that foul play was involved.  They’re growing increasingly worried as they have no information as to where she may be.

Yolanda Reyes2Police say Reyes’ husband last saw her near the greenhouse where she worked wearing blue jeans, white tennis shoes and a sweater.

She’s 5’3” with brown hair and brown eyes.

Rodas says she fears the worst.

“I think someone probably took her.” She said.

And as the days pass and her absence becomes unbearable, she and the rest of the family are pleading for anyone with information to come forward to police.

Family says Reyes does not drive and only speaks Spanish.

Investigators say they’re speaking with family members and working to find information on Reyes.  They expect to release more information Wednesday morning.

If you have any information on the disappearance of Yolanda Reyes call the Walker Police Department at (616) 791-6800.
