MUSKEGON, Mich (April 30, 2014) — One of the teens charged with robbing a Domino’s Pizza delivery driver will head to trial.
Wednesday morning was Micah Quinn’s preliminary hearing.
Delivery driver, Roy Ferguson, sat terrified across the courtroom from the teen he claims robbed and forced him into the trunk of his car at gun point.
Ferguson recalled the whole ordeal in court while a judge weighed whether there was enough evidence to send Quinn to trial.
Detectives say Quinn and Taylin Glenn admitted to ordering delivery on March 19th, with the intent to rob the driver. Ferguson said when he pulled up to the house, he saw the two teens walk up to him.
“One of them stuck a gun in my back as I knocked on the door and said don’t knock,” recalled Ferguson.
That’s when he knew he was in trouble.
“I put the food down and they told me to get in the trunk and I did so.”
Ferguson told the court the teens drove off with him in the trunk for what felt like 15 minutes, until they came to their first stop.
“They told me to take off my clothes and I thought they were going to finish me right there,” said Ferguson.
But the frightening trip didn’t end there. Ferguson said he was forced back into the trunk and driven around, this time for an hour. Then, they came to their second stop.
“They told me to kneel down and pray,” said Ferguson. He said one of them had a gun pointed at him the whole time.
“They pulled the trigger on the gun and it just clicked and then they laughed and said ‘ha ha, I got you.”
Ferguson has since gone back to work, but at another Domino’s location.
Quinn and Glenn face weapons and armed robbery charges, as well as unlawful imprisonment. The two also have charges for a separate armed robbery that happened three days before Ferguson said he was robbed. And, because both teens have a prior record, bond remains at $500,000 a piece.
Glenn is expected in court for his hearing on May 2nd.
