MECOSTA COUNTY, Mich. (May 4, 2014) – Two men are dead after a rollover crash early Sunday morning in Mecosta County.

According to the Mecosta County Sheriff’s Department, two of the four passengers in this car, 23-year-old Adam Byberg of Remus and 22-year-old Aaron Clark of Barryton, were killed. Deputies said the crash happened just before 1 A.M. Sunday when their car was passing another vehicle on 30th avenue and 17-mile-road. Their car veered off the road and rolled over, when deputies say both Byberg and Barryton were ejected. A 22-year-old driver and 23-year old passenger, also in this car, were transported to Spectrum Health in Big Rapids with non-life threatening injuries.

Officials reported the men ejected were not wearing seatbelts, and believe speed and alcohol are factors in this accident.

Mecosta County EMS, Osceola County EMS, and Barryton Fire and Rescue assisted with this accident.
