IONIA COUNTY, Mich (May 8, 2014) – A Saranac father accused of shooting and killing his own adult daughter in May 2013 was found guilty of Open Murder and Felony Firearms after his trial in Ionia County on Thursday according to the Ionia County Sheriff’s Office.
Donald Lasley was 73 years old when he was arrested for 37-year-old Jacquie Osterhout’s death. She was found dead from a gunshot wound on the living room floor at a home in the 6000 block of Jordan Lake Road in Berlin Township.
Court documents found during the investigation revealed a rocky past between the father and daughter, included several police reports involving assaults and alcohol.
