ZEELAND, Mich. (May 10, 2014)- A 49-year-old man from Grand Rapids died after an industrial accident at Hillshire Farms, that’s according to the Ottawa County Sheriffs Office.
It happened just before 2 A.M. Saturday inside the facility on 96th Ave. Deputies said the victim was trapped in a conveyer belt. FOX 17 was told rescuers were able to free him but CPR attempts didn’t work. He died at the scene.
The name of the victim is not being released until his family has been notified.
