GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., (May 12, 2014) – A small non-profit that helps those with special needs experience the arts is in the running to win a $25,000 grant from State Farm.
State Farm will be giving away the grants to 40 non-profit programs. Over 5,000 people sent in nomination requests for their favorite charities.
“Joy through Art” from Arts In Motion was selected from the top 200 to compete for a spot in the Top 40 to win a grant. It’s the only entry from the Grand Rapids Area.
