BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (May 12, 2014) — Police in Battle Creek took a man into custody on Sunday night, after he drunkenly threatened some children.
It happened at around 8:00 p.m. in the area of Battle Creek Ave. and Caroline. Officers received reports that a man carrying a shotgun was threatening kids in the area. Police located the suspect, who was still in possession of the firearm. And upon further investigation, the officers found that the man was intoxicated.
He was taken to jail, and faces charges of Felonious Assault, Possession of a Firearm while Intoxicated, and Possession while in Commission of a Felony.
