The Grand Haven VFW is hosting their 10th Annual Ribfest event May 23 & 24, 2014 at the Grand Haven VFW located at 20 North First Street Grand Haven, MI. Restaurants and independents will compete for the title of Best Ribs and Peoples Choice. Admission is free.
The Grand Haven VFW Entertainment Tent will feature live music Friday evening and Saturday afternoon and evening. Admission is free.
A Hog Calling contest is open to the public Saturday afternoon with prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
A Detroit Lions football helmet autographed by Billy Sims, Barry Sanders, Matt Stafford and Ndamukong Suh will be raffled.
All proceeds from the event to benefit veterans and veterans programs.

5:00 PM: Rib contestants begin serving their best ribs and sides
$3.00 per ribs sample per vendor $1.00-$2.00 per side per vendor
5:30 PM until close: Live bands (Power Slug and 4U2NV) in entertainment tent. Admission is free.
Must be 21 years of age or older to purchase alcohol
