GIRARD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (May 24, 2014)- A 22-year-old man and a four year old female along with two others are recovering after a rollover crash on southbound I-69 in Branch County.

According to the Branch County Sheriff’s Department, 22-year-old Jordan Robertson was travelling southbound with three passengers including a four year old female, on I-69 near mile marker 18, when he decided to change lanes. The driver then drove off of the highway, over corrected and then lost control of the vehicle. The 2002 Toyota Tundra then flipped on to its side in the roadway and then slid into the ditch.

The accident happened around 5:10 p.m. Friday afternoon.

Mr. Robertson and the four year old female in the truck were transported to Community Health Center in Coldwater for evaluation.

Deputies say that alcohol was not a factor in the crash and that everyone inside the truck were wearing their seat belts, with the four year old female in a child restraint seat. The airbags in the truck did not deploy at the time of the accident.

This accident remains under investigation by the Branch County Sheriff’s Department.
