Man’s Death in Heritage Hill Home Ruled Homicide

Heritage HillGRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (May 26, 2014) —The death of a man inside a home in Grand Rapids’ Heritage Hill neighborhood was ruled a homicide Tuesday following an autopsy of the body.

The victim was found by a neighbor at a home in the 300 block of Washington Street SE near Prospect Avenue Monday.

“When officers arrived they found the victim, Glenn Converse, age 63 years, unconscious and unresponsive.  AMR responded to the scene.  The victim was declared deceased at the scene.  Mr. Converse was under Hospice care however the circumstances surrounding his death were suspicious,” said a news release by the Grand Rapids Police Department.
