SANDUSKY, OH (June 8, 2014)– Cedar Point staff and the city of Sandusky fixed the leak–and they expect to be up and running again.
Cedar Point had experienced water overflow issues, causing them to close down the park until the problem was resolved. They even conducted water tests to make sure there weren’t any hidden issues.
The park closed down in the middle of the day, causing several families and tourists to leave the park. Luckily, they were refunded. But, to get tourists back again, the park is offering a great deal.
Bryan Edwards, Public Relations Manager for Cedar Point, said the park will reopen on Monday, June 9 for normal business hours. In celebration of the reopening, Cedar Point is offering the H2O Offer for anyone who has come across the watery inconvenience; when you buy a one day admission ticket through Sunday June 15, you will receive a free Soak City Ticket.
