GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A federal grand jury has indicted a Calhoun County man on four charges related to child pornography.

The grand jury from the U.S. District Court Western District of Michigan Southern Division in Grand Rapids charged Ronald Lee Moser with two counts of sexual exploitation and attempted sexual exploitation of a child, one count of distribution of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography.

The indictment alleges that on June 5, in Calhoun County, Moser used a cell phone to photograph a 12-year-old child engaging in sexually explicit conduct and did so knowing that one or more of the images would be uploaded onto the Internet.

It said that on that date he also possessed child pornography and knowingly distributed one or more images over the Internet.

Moser also was ordered to forfeit any property he had that had been used in committing the four offenses — specifically his cell phone.

The incident remains under investigation by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Grand Rapids.
