PARK TOWNSHIP, Mich. (June 16, 2014) — A man and woman are recovering from serious injuries they sustained when a man turned in front of their motorcycle, causing a collision.

The crash happened Sunday evening in Ottawa County’s Park Township.  Police say a 19-year-old man driving a 1997 Volvo was heading south on 152nd Avenue when he attempted to turn onto Ambertrace Drive.  He turned directly into the path of an oncoming 2006 Kawasaki motorcycle.

Garrett Imkamp, 24, of Muskegon, was operating the motorcycle.  He and his passenger, identified as Brittnee Taylor, 21, of Holland, both suffered serious injuries.  They were last listed in stable condition.

Both Imkamp and Taylor were wearing their helmets.
