GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (June 18, 2014) — Witnesses tell FOX17 that multiple gun shots were heard in downtown Grand Rapids along Ionia street shortly after midnight.
Grand Rapids Police were quick to respond to the incident because it happened just feet away from the central station. Witnesses tell FOX17 that two victims were shot and the suspected shooter took off on foot. Police have shut down Ionia from HopCat to Grand Rapids Brewing and are actively searching for the suspect.
