Semi Truck Mangled During Wednesday Afternoon Storm

semi crash.jpegKENT COUNTY, Mich. – It appears a semi truck was tossed to the side of Interstate 96 in Kent County Wednesday afternoon during strong storms that tore through West Michigan.

A photo showed the semi truck jackknifed in the westbound lanes of I-96 near Leonard Street in Grand Rapids.

It is not clear if the driver was hurt during the crash.

Traffic was slow-going in the area until the mangled mess could be removed from the side of the road.

I watch Fox 17 News everyday, And I like them but this is terribly inaccurate. The crash happened before the storm and it was at Snow Ave, no where near Leonard.
