BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (June 22, 2014)- A motorcyclist has died after a crash Saturday evening, that’s according to the Battle Creek Police Department.
It happened at the intersection of W. Michigan Avenue and Parrot Drive.
Investigators said motorcyclist Richard Martin, 28, was traveling at a high rate of speed and collided with a mini-van.
Police said Martin, from Nashville, Michigan, died from his injuries.
The driver of the mini-van was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police said a crash reconstruction team was brought in to investigate.
