‘Beverly Hills Cop’ Coming Back to Michigan

beverly hills copDETROIT, Mich. (June 27, 2014) — The latest installment of the 1984 action flick “Beverly Hills Cop” will film in Metro Detroit after it was approved for a film incentive from the state.

The upcoming film was approved for a $13.5 million incentive based on $56,644,792 of expected in-state expenditures. About 352 Michigan workers are expected to get a job during the film’s first shoot.

The fourth installment will bring main character Axel Foley back to Detroit during the coldest winter on record. Brett Ratner will direct the film and it will be produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. It is expected to hit theaters in March 2016.
