Crews Forced to Take Defensive Approach to Morning House Fire

robinson house fireROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (July 3, 2014) — Multiple crews responded to a house fire in Ottawa County early Thursday morning.

It happened at a home on 112th and Luce Street in Robinson Township shortly before 4:30 a.m.  When firefighters first arrived, there were heavy flames showing.  They had to take a defensive approach due to safety concerns.

It is believed that nobody was home at the time of the fire.  There is no word just yet on a potential cause.
