NEWAYGO COUNTY, Mich. (July, 8, 2014) – A motorcyclist has died, after hitting a deer in Beaver Township.

Michigan State Police at the Hart post responded to North Dickinson Road at 9:15 p.m. on July 7. The rider was heading south on Dickinson Road near Hayes Street when the motorcycle hit the deer. The rider was thrown from the bike and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The rider’s name has not been released pending family notification. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor, and the rider was not wearing a helmet.

    Why don’t from now on, in EVERY CAR ACCIDENT REPORT VULTURE news reporters should state if a seat belt was worn! A man has passed, and the families if these folks read and watch the news. A deer is so unpredictable!! Judgmental asses.

      Because they don't care. If you had a drink or you don't wear a skid lid you are responsible for the Iraqi war. To make a long story short people that make laws are MORONS. People can get a felony conviction because something might happen. Idiots.
