Man Charged With Muskegon Heights Killing

MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. — Details about what led up to a shooting in Muskegon Heights involving a man and his girlfriend are being revealed.

Court documents show what Tom Kerbuski told police following the shooting death of his girlfriend, Sandra Detty.

Kerbuski allegedly told police that he and Detty were in an argument when he asked her to leave the bedroom of her home at the Mona Lake Mobile Homes Park Friday night.

He said she continued laying on the floor and ignored his request. That’s when he said he placed his pistol on a desk nearby. As he attempted to force her out he said the gun accidently went off.

Detty was found on the floor with a gunshot wound to the back.

Kerbuski is being charged with open murder.

He’s scheduled to be back in court next month.

Pretty Damned nervy to ask someone to leave THEIR own bedroom, Why didn’t that creep leave instead? Why a loaded gun sitting out ?
it sounds like from that comment alone that this is not the first time that this has happened.,Whether it was an “accident” or not which it looks more like NOT! I’ll bet this suspect has used that gun many times to bully the victim.
Hope he gets what is coming to him…Life in prison since Mi does not have the death penalty!
