SAN FRANCISCO — A man and his two children were kept off a Southwest Airlines flight when they tweeted that a gate agent was rude, TV station KCBS reported.

The incident took place Sunday, and the airline has apologized and given the trio each a $50 voucher.

As the story goes, Duff Watson is an A-List member, which allows him priority boarding. The agent told his family they had to wait, and Watson complained on Twitter. After boarding, the family was asked to leave the plane, apparently because of the post.

Southwest says they are looking into it.
