Fugitive charged following arrest in Kent Co.
WYOMING, Mich. — One of three fugitives wanted in connection with a string of violent crimes was arraigned Thursday on an unrelated charge.
Kimberly Ann Wonsey, 20, was charged in Wyoming 62A District Court with failure to return rented property valued between $200 and $1,000.
Wonsey and another man, 25-year-old Daniel Leussenkamp, were arrested Wednesday at York Creek Apartments after U.S. Marshalls say they received a tip about their location. They were wanted in connection with a Greenville carjacking and a Wyoming stabbing.
The third suspect, 25-year-old Kevin Seely, was also arrested Wednesday in Herkimer, N.Y. He is awaiting extradition back to Michigan.
The three were wanted in connection with a Greenville carjacking and a Wyoming stabbing as well as an armed robbery and assault in Macomb County. None of the three suspects have been arraigned on charges related to those incidents.
Wonsey’s pretrial on the rented property charge is scheduled Aug. 7 at 11 a.m.
